Finally, I have time again to write another card review.
This time, we would use this card review as a chance for me to also look at Death Cyclone Team.
WHAT is Death Cyclone?? Well, I don't know about the details (since I never read Crossbone Gundam manga), but the basic storyline is, a faction called "Jupiter Empire" try to conquer Earth, and Crossbone Vanguard is trying to stop them (because they had conquer the Earth). I believe this team was appear in between the storylines.
Anyway, let's get into the card. This card have the cost of 2-4-0, which is...you may say, high. However, if you look at its effect closly, the cost is very normal.
WHY? This card is a tutor card for the Death Cyclone Units, and, not only tutor them from the Nation, but tutor them to the field. You still don't know why I say it's powerful, right?? Let's start analyzing the Death Cyclone Units:
Quavarze: 5 cost with "Team Raid", and a pretty nice boosting power effect
Abijo: 4 cost with "Team Swift Strike", this card could damage opponent's Units
Totuga: 4 cost with "Team Special Shield", this card basically serves as the damage negator
Well, although the Units' costs are almost the same as to this card, but, in Gundam War, no more than one Unit can be play during a turn (if not other effect negate this). This card helps to pull out all 3 of the Death Cycloners WAY faster, and even could say, with tournament potential.
The Team effects for the Death Cycloners are not bad also, Raid, Swift Strike, and Special Shield. The 3 basically effects for attack, protecting, and defending. Also, with the 3 characters that are in the same set, Death Cyclones are indeed have a great searching power.
This card does have a little drawback, that is, you cannot put another Totuga to field if there's already one on the field. However, does it matter much?? No, since once you pull out one set of Cyclones, damages are done like "free".
RATING: 4.7/5: This rating only applies on a Death Cyclone deck. This card is a BIG ZERO if it's not in Death Cyclone deck. This card is just great, period. This card is what makes Death Cyclone playable and become powerful (since [Death Cyclone Team] is the only playable team in the game right now). Why not perfect score?? Well, first this card is not for everyone and seconly, this card could top deck because of the 4 cost. However, that does not matter much anyway, as this card could just be another "finisher" to the game anyway.
