Finally I have time to write some card review on cards from new set. As usual, since I'm busy doing other stuff, I would do another double review.
The first of the two reviews (both on big Gundams) would be on the big "Gundam Head" in Devil Gundam (the 2nd form of it...), the final "villian" in G Gundam.
Let's first look at the stats of the card. This card is a 8 cost Unit. Being such big Unit, of course one would want to reanimate it back. Sorry, not going to happen. This card, in addition, can only be play with 8 cost OR change.
Let's talk about how to abuse this "change". Well, one obvious way people think about is using Geleanogy of Gundam (SPC-5 Purple). There's also [Kyogi Kassau] (CH-G21) and Three Grand Theory (O-G7), making the cost needed to bring out this card a little faster. At last, the 1st form had been released...so the effect is actually useful.
Let's get back to its stats. Being the "final boss", this card have it's size: 7/7/7 without character, 9/9/9 minimum with one.
Now it's time to talk about the keyword effects. As like all the big Units, this card have Prevent(9), which says "nobody can counter me outside of [Space Ruler]". As a G Gundam, it also have [MF] (duh). At last, this card also have Raid, which actually make the stats matter, and Vulture, as from flavor.
So how to make the "keep not dying" way of Devil Gundam into this game? Well, there's really not much (not as much in flavor as the 1st form). However, this card's effect lets you roll Gs to reanime one Unit per turn.
Now what to reanimate? Well, it depends...of course, you have to "pay" the cost of playing the Unit, or, you cannot cheat with the TNP cost in any way since you need to roll so much Gs. In the end, one or two Units back to field should be devastrating for opponent.
RATING: 7.4/10 - At the end, the cost of this card limits this card to pure fan made deck only. Since in tournament, depending of cards like [Geneology of Gundam] when both this card and that can clog up draws is no good. Of course, once this card hits the field, it's also prone to removals (for obvious reason). The effect of this card itself is only OK, as there's just not much things that you can bring back without sacrificing the balance of the deck to dependence on one effect. It's too bad that most of this type of "fanboy card" would belong more in binder than deck.
