OK....welcome to second Review of GW Cards...this time, we would look at another "powerful" card: v (Nu) Gundam from Spiral of Fate.
OK, first, there're N version of Nu Gundam, WHY I choose this one?? Well, this one is the one where, most people say it's the most powerful one...(since the 3 other version really...sux...)
Anyway, first look at the cost, 2/6/1 is not little, but the outcome? 5/3/5 unit, so, that is balance out. Although in this game, like Magic, "big" Unit are really hard to pull out...but, once you get 7-8 Gs running, it should be OK.
The stats does not matter why this card is consider the most powerful version of Nu Gundam (Gundam War often repeat card name with new effect...). First, Prevent effect is huge, so, really, not much Commands could be use on this card. The Psycho Weapon effect is...little crazy, indeed, it's like 3 "free damage", I would talk about why later. The Special Shield is OK...nothing special anyway.
The first effect is what many people consider this card good. Since it could "lower" the cost of this card, while also, "Amuro Ray " is a Newtype Character, it could help out the Psycho Weapon effect. Since 5/3/5 is nothing to laugh at, so...beware.
The second effect is also "crazy", since...this card just "do not tapped unless you just play it", you can defense, attack all you want...
RATING: 3.7/5 - People call this the "best version" of Nu Gundam for reasons. Although this card don't have "game breaking" effect, well, maybe except it's Psycho Weapon effect, but, if this card was put in the right deck, pulling this card out fast should not be a problem at all. (Characters always have low cost...)
