How to find a card using the "database"?
As you expect, this so call "database" is not really a database. Since I have no idea how to do one, it may state as is.
However, you can find a card by looking the the number at the bottom of the card. Each card, next to its rarity, have a "collector number" (i.e. U-XX, C-XX). Here's how to use that number in the low-tech database system that I have.
1. Look at the color of the card.
All of the TXT file are divided into color (and older one...factions). So...
- If your card is Blue, look under the Blue: EF/AEUG section (for newer files) or EFSF section (older)
- If your card is Green, look under the Green: Zeon (for newer) or Zeon section (older)
- If your card is Black, look under the Black: Titans/Zanscare (for newer) or use the following: if it's just X-XX, look under Titans section in older files. If it's X-ZXX, look under the Zanscare section.
- If your card is Red, look under the Red: Neo Zeon/Crossbone (for newer) or use the following: if it's just X-XX, look under Neo Zeon section in older files. If it's X-CXX, look under the Crossbone section.
- If your card is Brown, look under the Brown: Turn-A/X(/G) section (for newer) or use the following: if it's just X-XX, look under the Turn-A section. If it's X-XXX, look under the "X" section.
- If your card is White, look under the White: W/SEED section (for newer) or use the following: if it's just X-XX, look under the W (Wing) section. If it's X-SXX, look under the SEED section.
- If your card is Purple, look under the last section (scroll ALL the way down) to find the Purple section.
2. See if the cards are translated...yet.
Since I'm kind of lazy to translate all the cards, which would take me a while, if you have the following cards, tough luck. Try the Gundam War Yahoo! Group or Wargame Central
