Duel Monsters Comet Help file: How to use the Card List

First of all, welcome to this great site, hope you enjoy this site. Unlike most sites on the web, Duel Monsters Comet provides it's OWN translation and we're making sure we're the FIRST ONE to get the new sets/cards translate.

But, if you have problem with the using the card list, here're instructions of how to use it.

First: MAKE SURE you're having a JAPANESE OCG CARD on your hand. If you have an English or Chinese card, sorry, Duel Monster Comet isn't a place for it.

1. Look at the card number located under the picture on the right hand side. If your card don't have a number, it would be either a Volume Card (very old), Booster Series card (very old also), Premium Pack/Limited Edition 1 (old), or EX Starter cards (also...old).

2. Once you find the number, go onto the card list and find the set #. Here're some hints:
a. If the card set coce start with 3 and follow by two number, check the Series 3 sections
b. If the card set code was two letter, check Series 2 sections
c. If the card set code was DL#, check Series 2 Reprints
d. If you CANNOT find the set number/code ANYWHERE, check the Promo section, it SHOULD be in there.

3. What about PDF/TXT??
In Duel Monster Comet, there're two card translation file format: TXT and PDF. TXT is just Notepad/Wordpad Text Document, while PDF is Adobe Acrobat document. So, WHEN you use each one?

- TXT: When you want to check for quick card effect translation
- PDF: When you want to print it out for checklist (with translation)

4. HOW to use the TXT file?
The Text Translation file is divided into 5 sections: Intro, Update, Rarity List, How to use, and Translations. The "HOW TO USE" would guide you to how to use "read" the translations. The Intro and Update are serve as functions as the following pic (please click it to enlarge it.)

5. HOW to use the PDF file?
The PDF file should be self-explainatory. It's just a table with Card Name, Stats, Types/Sub-Types, and effect (if available)
