Article 45: Power of GX!!

After the long anticipation after the "V-Jump gone nuts" incident (or, when they put >30 cards in the magazine), we finally have the full set.

This set is first set of Series 5. The difference? Naming system: from 3 English letters to 4...

As usual, I would write down my first impression of the set.

Card Trends and theme:
If you think sets like EEN have "too much anime card", sorry, you're wrong...again. With the visits of Neospacians, we have millions more...of course, Neospacians.

Here're the list of anime cards...total 41 (out of 60...) cards:
E-Hero Neos, 3 Neospacian, 3 Neospacian Fusions, Cacoon Dolphina, Laris (9)
4 bland new Vehicroids, plus 2 Fusions, 1 Magic, 3 Traps of Sho (10)
More D-Heroes and supports (6x monsters, 3x Magic, 2x Trap) (12)
Dino: Dark Stego, Ultimate Tyranno (2)
The Kaiser's forever-non-finish-Cyber Dragon series: Chimeratech Over Dragon, Overload Fusion, Future Fusion (3)
Others: Contact, Fake Hero, Calling Magic, Common Soul, Neospace, Mausoleum (5)

Others? OK, with 19 space left, tell me what other things they can do??? Well, they do introduct one new thing: the Aliens and the "abduction" theme.

Old cycles? Well, the Roids are back...

Just FYI: ALL 12 Magic cards are anime card (OK, Cyclone Blade may be not...but it's changed from [Heavy Storm Blade] anyway)...wow...power of anime, huh?

Deck Types:
It's time to discuss about any new deck types: fun or what-not...
- Neospacians (which cannot be used with E-Heroes...WTF...)
- Alien
- Mausoleum-Tributes (I can tell you one thing, however...that the deck don't work)
- Future Fusion (Thin deck, Fusion OTK, whatever)

For deck types that get boosts:
- D-Hero (still as many people said, "goes everywhere effect-wise")
- Vehicroid-Machine Hybird
- Bird (XD)
- Dino, Reptile
- Cyber/Machine-Fusion OTK
- Counter-Angel (not...so...much...)

Shortest...list...ever...right? Seriously, this is like shortest ever since...309?

USEFUL CARDS:
As obvious, we would now look at the useful (not necessary GREAT!!) cards that I believe could be consider to add to deck (no matter theme or every decks...). It goes down from the cardlist.

This is it for my first look at the set. Of course, this is, again, a first impression. Some underrated card by me may get used, and I HAD overrated some cards.

But now, we have to choose the worst card of this set...
