Article 35: Chaos Soldier - Envoy of the Banning -

Well, back with another article.

From the title, it's obvious that I'm going over the new ban/resriction list.

What could I say...I mean, I expected Chaos to be ban, Meta and Goat to be restrict...

My analysis on the list:
Ban:
Chaos Soldier - Messanger of the Beginning -: Do I need more reason why this card should be ban??
Killer Snake: Free discard?? Annoying blocker?? No more. Farewell, Snake, for you've already bring enough annoyance to the game
Demon Twins: Expected, period
Angel's Gift: Well, the best drawing card in my situation, combined with dump-reborn, Light-Dark (Voice: Soldier is ban), Dark Realm, etc. Not to mention KoJ likes Pot of Greed over this...
Destruction Ring: Lots have cry for the banning of this card. Having the potential to end a game with opponent can't really do anything DOES hurt...
Holy Barrier - Mirror Force: Well, KoJ loves to switch this card and Black Hole over and over, so...

Restrict:
Thousand Eyes Sacrifice: The first ever fusion monster to get restrict. WHY? Probably b/c of the annoyance of this card and the ability to stall a game up BIG time, which stall up tourneies and forced to use the "times-up" rule.
Tsukunomi: Guess too much Tsuku-lock existed...sigh...blame this on Mike Rosenburg (Running). Really, with all those reusable Reverse effect tech out there, this card is just WAY too good to have the potential to just, well, keep reusing Reverse effect monster.
Book of Moon: Pretty much the same as Tsukunomi, reusing all those Reverse effect monster is just crazy...
Scapegoat: I've long predicted the restriction (at least semi-restriction) of this card, and I'm finally right. With the potential to be morph, serves as free sacrifice, stall the game, abused with "Number of monster"-matter cards, etc. It's just WAY too powerful...
Metamorphosis: Like Scapegoat, this card have WAY too many combo. I mean, all you need is two cards and you can get monsters from [Cyber End Dragon] to [Thousand Eyes Sacrifice]...
Limiter Removal: I hate this card, period. I got kill by it MANY times due to the fact that opponent god-draw 2-3 of them and activate them at the same time...I mean, even a 1400 Machine can turn into 10000+ ATK monster?? Crazy...
Night Assassin: Too much abuse with this card, period. With everyone using this card as a free discard bait, getting a Filp effect monster like [Cyber Pod] or [Saint Magician] back, or even use it as a infinite discard loop for possible OTK.

Unban:
Black Hole: I don't like this card, but, it's out of my limit to describe to Konami how powerful this card is...but, since SOME mass removal is needed, guess Konami just choose this card b/c of the fact that this card have a little drawback...
Confiscation: The weakest discard trio out of all 3, it's 1-for-1, it requires LP cost, this card isn't really THAT bad in my opinion.

Unrestrict:
Vampire Lord: Even though the unrestriction makes people fear the Vampire Control deck that owns the meta many years ago will come back, but really, this card loss so much of its power that now, things like [Berserk Gorilla] and [Cyber Dragon] can beat this card up easily
Troop Commander: He's just not semi-restriction worthy. I mean, the free summon gets you nowhere nowadays...
Black Scorpion - Running Chikku: I have no idea why in the world this card is semi-restrict the first place...

Cards that survived (in my opinion):
Jar of Greed: With [Jar of Avarice] released in EEN, MANY (including me) expected this card getting axe. But, nope, thanks to Konami loving this card so much, it may never get banned...
Exclusivity Virus: Even without cheap discard bait, this card discouraged sub-type theme deck WAY too much, not to mention this card can get 1-for 2-3 lots of time.
Cyber Pod: No matter how random this card is, being able to turn the table quick makes this card WAY too powerful
Saint Magician: Even without Night Assassin, Tsukunomi, or Book of Moon, this card is still powerful in today's meta. Sigh...guess I need to run more [Nobleman of Crossout]
Metamol Pod: 5 cards...this card is even more powerful then [Jar of Greed], [Angel's Gift], etc. Yet it survived yet another list...
Brainwash: Before, you only gets Goats to be washed, now, it's a bunch of Vampires...

Things that I'm not too happy with:
Black Hole: No matter what, I hate this card SO MUCH that, well, why it the world they unban such a unbalanced card when the rest of the list balanced the game quite well
DDVD: It's still restricted...it doesn't matter what, but this card is needed BADLY to stop all those mindless beatdown
Vampire Lord: Is Konami nuts?? It's just so freaking easy to get this card on the field...
Emergency Ration: Why in the world it's still semi-restrict...we don't have Mirage now, don't we??
Rich Goblin: Again, why it's even on the list...this card sucks BAD
