Article 25: A Lost Analysis

This trend had become boring...but as usual, after each new booster set release, I would analyze them, talking about possible deck types and finally analysis on good cards in the set.

Deck Types:
As I said before, each of this series 4 sets (and really Series 3 sets) have a theme in it. This time, for once, the name of the pack match the theme: talking about old rusty Machine to the Ancient Rocks. This set boost Rock sub-type to a level where it is just behind in ONE sub-type in a set (that is...Demons in 305, which there're 14 of them...), but a big LOT since then (total of 12 Rock sub-type monsters).

As usual, this set have cycles (this set have 2): [Antique Gear ...] and the [xx Spirit User]. The [LV] monsters came to an end with only [Ultimate Insect LV7] which end the series, but no new [LV] series. Also, the Emperor series finally end with there's no Wind or Dark Emperor in this set. This set, however, start a series of [Battery Men].

This set have a BUNCH of anime card...I mean it...
1. ALL of the E-Heroes, Hero Signal, Hane Kuriboh (Yuuki Judai)
2. Antique Gear Golem, maybe the other 2 Antique Gear things (Professor Chronos)
3. Brain Control, Treasure Gifts from Heaven (A LOT of peoples)

NOW, let's talk about the new deck types that I could think right now of a little bit:
- Rock sub-type Aggro
- E-Hero deck (although a lot of boosts are still need)
- Antique Gear Golem
- Wight deck (no one would EVER forget this...LOL)
- Reshef Ritual deck
- Monk Fighter/Master Monk/Fighter Nezumi deck

For deck types that get boosts:
- Rock Defensive Aggro
- Bounce
- Standard Tournament deck...(really only one card...)
- Insect deck (again...) + Ultimate Insect [LV] deck
- "Element" deck
- Machine deck (a little bit...)
- Warrior...(I don't really think so...through...)

As obvious, we would now look at the useful (not necessary GREAT!!) cards that I believe could be consider to add to deck (no matter theme or every decks...). It goes down from the cardlist.

- Millennium Scorpion
- Criosphinx
- Megarock Dragon
- Grave Orja
- Survivor of Another Dimension
- Death Wombat
- Wight King (LOL)
- Wicked God - Reshef
- E-Heroes Fusions (they're CRAZY!!)
- Brainwash - Brain Control -
- Nitro Unit
- Hero Signal (in E-Hero deck...)

That's it...this set is not a very GREAT set, due to all of the Traps are pretty useless. Konami underpower some cards too much...some cards would be good when they're CONTINUOUS...but they're NOT!

Again...I would pick out the worst card in the set: Wiggling Shadow (WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE CARD ANYWAY??)
