Article 22: United or Divide

Back with my article.

As always, I rant more than anything (Voice: What else can you do?)

Releases

As many knows, the 2 new Structure Decks along with BE2 is released in Japan recently, also, DB1, the parallel set of BE1, is release in U.S. of A.

On the Structure:
I playtest both of them, and some comment on them:
1. Buy them for cheap staple...
2. Both of them are VERY hard to use
3. It's hard to win with them
4. Good thing is, you can change only like 6 cards and build a very good theme deck (Dragon/Zombie)

Obviously, both of them contains all those "expensive" staple that many wants (Tidal Wave, Theft, Tempest). Both have a "huge monster" that's special summon by sacrificing a "Big monster" (REBD/V-Lord, respectively).

They're VERY hard to use, as for Dragon, the 14/26 ratio can be hard for people who're use to the 16/24 or 17/23 ratio. Some card are kind of waste, such as [4th Dimension Grave] in Dragon or the 3x [Cry of Mummy] in Zombie.

Overall, though, it's a VERY great point for those who're not that rich to get a better deck. Since it's coming in English, I can already foresee people whining for their "staple" lost value...

BE2 is nothing special, just a reprint, even though some weird choice is made by KoJ (Such as reprint some 1-trib 1800 ATK normal monster and NOT reprinting [Rainbow Fish]...)

Overall, though, BE2 isn't that bad, even though it's expensive to pull them...

The release of DB1, though, will led to my main topic:

United or Divide
Since KoJ and KoA/UDE are doing parallel release now, this should be uniting the game, right?

YEAH RIGHT...

Just like 2 or 3 days after DB1 is released, I already seeing people whine about their Exodia limbs being Common, many cards have rarity drops, many of their "expensive cards" don't worth as much b/c of the reprint, etc. etc. etc.

WAIT...the division of the game is still WIDE. Even though some English player like DB1 very much, some think that "Why reprint", "What in the world they drop all the rarity", "Why this and that aren't this and that", etc. etc. etc.

I don't see any problem when BE1 is release in Japan, NO ONE complains about Exodia limbs being common, I only see people complain that they reprint card way too fast, but, overall, many did pull that pack, and many say it's good for beginner (It's call Beginner's Edition, afterall)

The division? OCG and TCG player isn't dividing, but the division is within those whining collectors in TCG against the "pro-reprint" TCG players.

My comment? It's just a freaking reprint set, NO ONE told you to get all these card for over certain amount of dollar (Look at the $23,000 English Cyber Stein...when it'll be release in DB2...)

Also, whining is already there about DB2 after people look at the "spoiler", that all those TP Ultra will be Common/Rare, people yell, scream, etc. etc. etc.

Get a freaking live...no one told you to get paper for $100.

Seal of Oriklachos

YES...Doma has reach America...so is the crazy "Release Seal of Oriklachos" hype...

I mean, I look around a few board, and saw people keep saying "Konami should release SoO", "It's NOT broken", etc. etc. etc.

I'm getting annoyed by those people...they're just annoying to the point that they don't listen to people saying that "Doma is a filler", "It'll never be release"

GOD...really, if Konami want to release it, why they don't release it when Doma is in Japan...

It's easy, THEY MAKE UP DOMA ARC to fill up more time so that they don't have to end Yu-Gi-Oh original series so soon (Well, since I don't think they plan GX yet back then).

Enough ranting...I'll wish anyone (if anyone is reading this) a Happy Holiday
