Article 19: Releases, Meta, GX

Well, I'm back with an article...

Obviously, like most of my more recent articles, it's divided into parts...

Releases

As most of you know, Flaming Eternity is coming in 2 weeks. One thing, though, is that NO spoiler has been found anywhere, and no one know exactly how that set will be.

Then, comes the Structures, I have no idea what's in there either, all I know is that Konami is now releasing Structures with themes...

That's where I'll start first...

Themeing Structures are NOT bad at all, in fact, they're very good for beginners and poor players who can't afford many cards. I have to see if the Structures are horrible or not to comment on it.

Overall, KoJ will continue its reprinting (Which is suppose to get people to get cards easier with KoJ making more money, a win-win situation...), and I'll post my rarity guess for both BE2 and EE2 (REMEMBER, They're GUESSES...)

Obviously, 9/1 ban (English 10/1 ban) hits the game in many aspect...

But why don't we take a flashback to pre-9/1...

BUT, does that mean some deck are hopeless?? NO...I mean, a well-build Insect deck can own a Chaos Warrior. A Virus deck can still own most deck.

Notice the big difference, though, DDVD is just a crazy card that's one of the center cards in Japanese meta before restriction (Chaos Duo is the other cards). With the returning of Jars, already useful Abyss Assassin has even more use. Cards like [Exclusive Virus] are turning to a more MUST...

Oh well, I'm not very familiar with a meta...so, let's move on.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX
Obviously, as most of you should know, the original series is over, and GX took over as the new series...

Why I have to take a place to talk about it?? Mainly, GX is NOTHING compare to the original series.

Let's face it, GX completely left the much more serious tone of original series, Yuki just make way too much joke. Since only 6 episodes is air, I can't talk about the 2 "side-kicks" yet, I'll just keep focusing on Yuki...

GX clearly shows a new thing - as in most "minor" character in original series - a themed deck. But, this time, even the protagonist is using a theme deck (E-Hero), and themes are explored unlike the original series. But, it's kind of boring to watch Yuki use the same god-drawing technique as Yugi to beat people everytime...

Also, a card that almost everyone have in deck?? [Fusion]...Asuka (The new female character..."Queen of Girl Dorm") use it, it's like Yuki's main card, and just...bunch of new fusions. No idea why...Fusions are horrible...but, with the god-drawing technique of Yuki, what can one expect??

The only thing positive about the whole series?? The sexy Asuka...
